To reproduce :

1)Open a wsdl, which has a schema and some content in it. Open the
source tab,
2)change the name of the "name" attribute from <xsd:element
name="some... to  <xsd:element nam="some.. for example.
3)Swithc to the designt tab. Notice that the name has not changed.
4) explore similar cases with local elements, ref elements , complex and
simple types.
