I'm using the Eclipse 3.7 RC2 distribution, and have installed m2eclipse (0.12.1). I'm now trying to install some additional m2eclipse related dependencies from http://m2eclipse.sonatype.org/sites/m2e-extras. It seems that the Web Application Runner has a dependency on a newer, unreleased version of the core m2e plugin, so the installation process fails. Since I'm not using any dev or nightly URLs for m2e related p2 repositories, I would expect that all plugins on these repositories will only have dependencies to the stuff that is already lunched, and so the install process would work. 

This is the exact problem I'm getting:

Not an Eclipse bug and likely isn't relevant any more.

Web Application Runner is a Sonatype project and isn't hosted at Eclipse.

You're right, I completely forgot about the fact that some part of the former m2eclipse plugin didn't get into the standard Eclipse. Thanks for the clarification.
