Description mteuber CLA 2011-05-26 03:57:05 EDT
Build Identifier:

On testing a html web application (the html code is generated through a web server using rich faces) via internet explorer the browser shows for each single script error found on the page a dialog which is to confirm.

As this is not part of the application it is hard to cover by testing.

In the internet explorer these messages can be suppressed so that they do not occur but this setting is not considered by guidancer as only the engine is used.

It is necessary that it is possible to use the settings from the browser in the testing environment so that an automation of testing can be possible.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create web site via rich faces (or at least a html site with script errors)
2. use the created site as AUT URL
3. start a test run on this site

Hi, I'm sorry that there was no response on this. Since it's been open for so long, and no one has looked at it, I'm going to close it as wontfix. If you or anyone else has new information, then please reopen it.
