OS: Windows 7
Whiteboard:

Description Mark Macdonald CLA 2011-05-25 14:21:19 EDT
FF4, Chrome 12 running on Windows

1. Go to the navigator page.
2. Click "New Folder", and press Ctrl+V to try to paste into the text box that appears.
3. Nothing happens.

The same problem applies to the text fields in the "Link Folder" dialog, and the text field in the "Open Resource" dialog.

I suspect that Ctrl+C/V events are being eaten by the copy/paste files commands.

sounds like it. I'm setting up generic keybindings in the command framework as we speak so I'l check this case out.

fixed with the initial commit for bug 334200 (keybinding support).
These keys are now generic command keybindings so they get the "don't do anything if you are in a text field" handling.
