Description Eric Rizzo CLA 2011-05-24 10:41:44 EDT
See this forum message: http://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/t/210043/
It has a JPG attachment that gets converted to a huge mass of text (base 64, perhaps?) when viewing in the NNTP newsgroup.

Here's the NNTP version:
i have installed eclipse in windows 7. it is the first time i am using eclipse to run the C program. so, it is quite difficult for me to learn how to run program in it.

so, first i installed "Mingw" from the internet and then eclipse.

when, i first ran the "hello world" tuotrial... it worked correctly.
but when i tried to run a C program to " sum to numbers" it is not working.

the error is as follows:

**** Build of configuration Debug for project Data_structure ****

**** Internal Builder is used for build ****
gcc -oData_structure.exe sum.o
c:/mingw/bin/../lib/gcc/mingw32/4.5.2/../../../../mingw32/bin/ld.exe: cannot
open output file Data_structure.exe: Permission denied
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
Build error occurred, build is stopped
Time consumed: 314 ms.

i had also run hello world program in the tuotrial and it works fine.

i have reinstalled mingw, but still giving me the same error

Another example I did in the Test group that's probably easier to find in NNTP: http://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/m/673724/

I had made a test post that tested attachments, and it worked just fine... Turns out, there was a glitch and the Content-type header was not even being set.

I looked on the FudForum site, and they have no plans of moving to MIME attachments anytime soon... so as an immediate workaround I simply omit the Content-type header if attachments are present.

The post below in eclipse.test turned out OK in NNTP:

Looks good to me.
