Description Jörg Thönnes CLA 2011-05-20 11:37:45 EDT
Before I leave the office, I close my laptop and it wents to sleep. Normally, my Eclipse is still running then.

Next morning, I open the laptop and continue to work. Most application continue and reconnect to the
network automatically (or at least after complaining once).

Eclipse is different: Both Bugzilla and Trac connectors (did not try JIRA yet) fail to update task from repository,
giving permanent IO errors. Restarting Eclipse helps.

Therefore, I guess some improvement could be made to the general connector code.

What kind of I/O errors are you seeing? Do you have IPv6 enabled?
Comment 2 Steffen Pingel CLA 2011-11-23 05:18:27 EST
Jörg, are you still experiencing these problems?

Just tested it -- no IO errors any longer.

But I changed the environment:
* Ubuntu Natty 11.04
* Eclipse 3.7.1
* Mylyn 3.6.4
* Atlassian 3.0.2
* etc

Will re-open if it happens again.
