Choose two versions from the local history which are not the current version.

Hover of an eObject -> See the hover with the message "Press F2 to focus".
Hit F2 -> Hover disappears.

Tested with Eclipse 3.7RC1
Comment 1 Christian Dietrich CLA 2017-03-11 12:37:42 EST
caused by org.eclipse.xtext.ui.compare.DefaultMergeViewer.updateAsDocument(Object)

this one produces objects that are xtextdocuments insteadof editor inputs

this prevents
org.eclipse.xtext.ui.compare.DefaultMergeViewer.createSourceViewerConfiguration(SourceViewer, IEditorInput)
from actions beeing created
