the -pg (gprof enable option) is present in the compiler option, it does not work properly , there must be a linker option . So in project properties -> fortran build -> settings : in the linker options should be add a Debugging option button to enable the -pg .

A "Debugging" category was added to the linker options for the GNU and XL Fortran toolchains containing the -pg and -p options.

Fixed in HEAD for 8.0.
