All I am able to do is just building new classes without the option of a visual editor

Reproducible: Always

What exactly do you intend to do? Do you mean you want a visual editor for swing widgets?
Is this what you're looking for - http://wiki.eclipse.org/VE.

The Eclipse classic SDK for java developers does not contain any visual editor for swing.

I intend to close as INVALID.

Note, that the VE project is being scheduled for termination/archival.

Thus a better link these days would be http://www.eclipse.org/windowbuilder

Moving to VE anyway.
Comment 4 Stephan Herrmann CLA 2011-06-03 10:44:21 EDT
The VE project will not resolve this any more, see
http://dev.eclipse.org/mhonarc/lists/tools-pmc/msg01782.html

Please consider using http://www.eclipse.org/windowbuilder instead.
