While investigating bug #338495, I ran into a case where the repository that I'm adding is not revealed because it already exists but the URI has a trailing slash in one case and not the other.
There is probably some normalization of the URI that is not happening properly somewhere, but the other way to fix this would be to  change the code in RepositorySelectionGroup#fillRepoCombo such that when it searches for the element to reveal, it actually deals with trailing slashes (see 		if(items[i].equals(repoToSelect) on line 356)

I'm not sure this is the same line of code Pascal is talking about, but similar.  The repository managers normalize the leading/trailing slashes, but there are cases where we cache info and the UI needs to know about it.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
