This has been mentioned on bug 335789 before, but I don't think we had a dedicated bug for it.

To be able to develop Orion using a hosted Orion (i.e. not using a local server), we need to be able to test changes before committing them.

The idea is to use the site feature to define an "inner Orion" site configuration. Both Inner and Outer would talk to the same server, but would be running different client-side code and would be isolated from each other like two different browser sessions would.

I think this works now. Needs more testing though. :-)
