Description Jörg Thönnes CLA 2011-05-12 06:35:42 EDT
Just found a redraw-issue with WikiText in a Local Task. It may not be related to Mylyn.
In that case, please forward to SWT or whatever with your findings. Thanks.

h1. Steps to Reproduce

# Create new local task
# Enter 20 lines, e.g. number from 1 to 20
# Go to the first line
# Enter Ctrl-Space to invoke content-assist
# Select e.g. heading 1
# Press Enter
#* Expected: text @= =@ inserted
#* Actual: text @= =@ inserted, but below the last line (20), part of the content-assist is still drawn
#** See attached screen-shot
# Enter Ctrl-S to save clears up.

Screen-shot of local task with redraw issue

Here you can seen between line 16 and 20 that there are some pixels left over from the the content-assist pop-up.

Thanks Joerg. I can not reproduce this problem with Ubuntu 11.04. Sounds like this might be related to SWT?
Comment 4 David Green CLA 2011-05-16 21:13:11 EDT
I can't reproduce here (on Windows). Your call Steffen.

Could you reproduce this with Ubuntu 10.04.2 LTS?

Please forward to SWT to be corrected for next Eclipse 3.7. Thanks.

Moving to SWT: this appears to be a platform problem.

Verified working with Eclipse 3.6.1 and Ubuntu 11.04 Natty.
