And it won't respond to the mouse wheel for fast scrolling
May I suggest you make your own custom dropdown/popup to replace that submenu?
Preferably one with multiple columns?

This menu is provided from the Android plug-in. If you want them to make it into multiple submenus, open an enhancement request with them.

oh... That's disappointing... They tend to have so much to work on that it's unlikely it'll get fixed.

So there's no way for you to take the data it gives and just spit it out to a control other than the popup menu?

Not exactly. For starters, it is not even clear how this popup menu is being created. If it is their code then there is nothing that can be done on the Eclipse side to alleviate the problem. If they are merely making contributions to the popup menu, then we would be taking a risk by altering the rendering of menu items, something that has not changed for many, many releases.

Ask the ADT team to categorize them, for example a Size submenu could lead to min/max/normal heights & widths.
