I've seen this on FF4 and FF3.6.

To reproduce:
1. Make some changes in project shared with GIT
2. Go to Git Status
3. Stage your changes
4. Type "t" in Commit message
5. "Open Resource" window opens
The windows opens each time you write "t" in the commit message input

my bad.  I have a hack where I check whether the keystroke comes from an input field, but this box must be something different...(in bug 334200 there will be a non-hack solution).
