Using indigo M7 and Xtext M7 I get the following error:

log4j:WARN No appenders could be found for logger (org.eclipse.xtext.ui.internal.Activator).
log4j:WARN Please initialize the log4j system properly.

I saw that one also for Xtext 2.0.0 final.

I tried to fix this my adding -Dlog4j.configuration to eclipse.ini but that doesn't help.

How do I supply a log4j config to the Eclipse IDE?

So, the solution is to install the Xtext SDK.
