If you shrink your window horizontally, the horizontal scrollbar appears immediately under the table rather than at the bottom of the page. See for example this awful screen shot:

I had this problem in nav-table a few weeks ago and it was because the "mainpane" class was used in both the content pane for the center, as well as the div inside the content pane.  I removed the class from the inner div.  Not sure this is the git issue, but I would guess it could have been derived from navigator at some point.

Not sure if it is still relevant. I guess not. If it has to be fixed though, please reopen.
