1. Log into Orion.
2. Go to /navigate-tree.html
2. Blank page, error in JS console:
> navigate-tree.js:24   Uncaught TypeError: undefined is not a function

No, the navigate-tree was used in the past as alternate display. It evidently has not been kept in sync.

yeah, I've considered deleting this page since we pulled out the command for alternate display but just didn't have the heart yet.  It's not visible from the UI for some time.
