Description
Mark Davis
Hi, Mark. Thanks for reporting bugs! If you are able, it would be greatly appreciated if you could take the time to assign the bug to the proper category. You reported this on against the Java Development Tooling (JDT) project, Annotation Processing Tools (APT) component, and it has nothing to do with that. Also, it would be helpful if you can provide specific information about how to reproduce the bug, or at least about what you were doing when the bug occurred. Even if a bug seems to happen to you all the time, it is not likely happening to other people all the time, or else it would have been reported already (in which case you could find it by searching in Bugzilla, and you would not need to report it again). Thanks! FWIW, I suspect the problem here is caused by the SVN plugin, which is not produced by Eclipse at all; you may need to report this to the makers of Subversion, who are also responsible for the SVN Eclipse plugin. However, I'll reassign this bug to Platform project, Team component so that it's at least properly categorized. Which Subversion plug-in are you using? Subclipse or Subversive? (In reply to comment #2) > Which Subversion plug-in are you using? Subclipse or Subversive? I'm using Subversive. Thanks (In reply to comment #3) > I'm using Subversive. Please open issues with Subversive in the Subversive component in the future. The issue is actually caused by SVN client support library, so we can't fix it. On the other hand there is a solution for SVN 1.7 and later: 1) Go to the folder with the file causing problems 2) Execute command svn update --set-depth empty (note: this will delete your files, so make a copy first!) 3) Execute command svn update --set-depth infinity Everything could be done in plug-in UI, so there is no need to search for "ugly solutions". |
