Description Dave Madrid CLA 2011-04-29 12:19:59 EDT
Build Identifier:

Right clicking on the diagram palette has menu item for using large icons but the implementation only allows for one icon on connections and nodes. The framework should allow for adding a large icon on connections and nodes. If user doesn't care to use large icons, then they should be able to remove the "Use Large Icons" menu item.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Right click on Palette
2. Select Use Large Icons
3. Currently large icons are only available on "select" and "marquee". Not available for connections and nodes.

Is this a feature of GEF palette or Graphiti? Doesn't seem very useful.
Comment 2 Greg Amerson CLA 2011-04-29 13:26:23 EDT
That is a GEF feature that lets you specify multiple sizes for toolEntries. It allows for other layouts in the palette view, where the icons are large and the text is under the items which I guess some applications prefer.

Deferring. In the future, the palette image specification should be a list and the renderer should pick the appropriate image for each situation.

Bulk deferral of diagram-related items to the 0.5 release.
Comment 5 Konstantin Komissarchik CLA 2012-06-05 19:08:06 EDT
Deferring.

Verified through a code review and by checking the operation of the architecture sketch editor sample, where multiple sizes of icons are specified. Closing.
