Current implementation of Sapphire Diagram UI only supports a diagram as an editor page. Diagrams are more useful than that. I'd like to make it possible to have diagrams in views, dialogs, etc. 

This task tracks investigating whether we can easily bypass the parts of GEF that rely on being inside an editor. If that proves to be difficult or impossible, this tracks re-basing Sapphire Diagram UI on top of straight Draw2D, which has no problem operating in any SWT context.
