Keeping startup.jar around makes it less likely that people will properly use the equinox executable JAR.  It hasn't existed upstream for a while.  AFAIK only pdebuild.sh uses it.  How do people feel about removing it?

I'm all for dropping it. The closer we are to upstream the better.
