I run the Report Demo Applicaton found on http://wiki.eclipse.org/RAP/BIRT_Integration (ZIP File http://wiki.eclipse.org/images/e/e3/Rap_birt_examples.zip).

No chart was displayed on the HTML Report Tab. Following changes in HTMLView.java fix the Problem

That sounds reasonable. The image paths have changed at some point in 1.3.
Since you fixed it already, could you update the attached zip file in the Wiki? That would be very helpful. Thanks.

There is also an open enhancement request that suggests a public method to obtain the image path instead of guessing it: bug 320255.
