Description Matt Hargett CLA 2011-04-27 20:04:42 EDT
Build Identifier: 201104150807

In previous versions of CDT, comparing two revisions gave a UI where the older file was on the left and the newer file is one the right. If this is intentional, please add a configuration option that allows users to choose between the old and new behaviour.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. in a file with source control integration enabled, right-click on a file and select revision history
2. in the revision history tab, select two revisions
3. evoke the context menu on the two selected revisions and select 'diff two revisions'

result: older file is on the right and newer file is on the left, which is the opposite of most visual diff tools and previous Eclipse CDT versions

Indeed, and that was recently fixed (in Neon.2 and later).
