Try starting any of the built-in scenarios. The following exception occurs in the error log.

STEM Internal error execution command applied to "org.eclipse.stem.ui.views.IdentifiableDelegate"

The plugin.xml in org.eclipse.stem.ui.grapheditor was double-registring adapter factories already declared in the plugin.xml for org.eclipse.stem.ui. Removing the registration of those factories seems to have fixed this problem.
