Description Benjamin Muskalla CLA 2011-04-18 16:14:14 EDT
We need to map the containment and relationships between model objects to the degree of interest graph.
Comment 1 Miles Parker CLA 2011-07-11 20:19:52 EDT
I'm not familiar enough with DOI model to know for sure (We might want to use model objects URIs instead) but EReference should work for all of these.
Comment 2 Benjamin Muskalla CLA 2011-07-12 06:25:53 EDT
Yep, essentially you then need to follow the EReferences, get the handles of the other objects and report back to the DOI model.
Comment 3 Miles Parker CLA 2011-07-21 18:10:02 EDT
Rather than follow the references, we'll just record user actions against them -- i.e. selection, property edits, etc.. Question on that for anyone interested. Do we want to do anything with the referenced items if a user selects or modifies a reference itself? Typically the only way to get to a reference would be to already have placed the relevant objects into the context, but I suppose in some diagrams the user might click on or even add a reference without actually selecting the source or target nodes.
Comment 4 Miles Parker CLA 2011-08-10 17:13:44 EDT
All that is left here is support for references, which I think we'll want.
Comment 5 Miles Parker CLA 2011-08-15 23:41:00 EDT
Finsihed. We won't be tracking the references themselves in the model. Too low level I think, but please let me know if you think otherwise.
