I am getting following exception in the stack trace. Not sure what triggers it. Running last Hudson build.

That is actually mylyn trace. Is there something out of sync between CDT and Mylyn?

Bug 320518 states that it's been fixed back in July 2010 but i am using Mylyn weekly builds

Andrew, which version of the Mylyn CDT feature and plug-in do you have installed (org.eclipse.cdt.mylyn...)?

Shawn, do you know what could be causing this to popup again?

Oddly, it doesn't seem that this was actually fixed in July as the duplicate states.  I have added guards so that this exception will not occur anymore.
