Description David Pérez CLA 2011-04-15 05:42:51 EDT
I have some temporary views that I use as non-modal dialogs, and are shown in its own frame. I have flagged them as non-restorable in plugin.xml.

When I restart my app, the phantom shells appear empty.
If I close them, they reappear again when I go to another perspective and come back.

The only way of getting rid of them, is to place some view inside and to close them.

I think that empty frames should not be restored, nor saved.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.

If the bug is still relevant, please remove the "stalebug" whiteboard tag.
