An Error without a stacktrace is displayed in the "Errors"-View:

"JavaPosition was null!5747" which occured in org.eclipse.jst.jsp.core

Is there any more information to go off of than this? Knowing how it got to this point would go a long way in finding a solution to the problem. (An example of the JSP that caused it or anything like that)

Hi, Patric.

Do you have an example source file that was problematic for you? This seems very dependent on the content of the source file. Also, I noticed a series of bugs you opened. I'm curious if one of these failures kind of caused a chain reaction, thus giving you a lot of messages in your error log.

unfortunately I do not have an example for this bug but I'll try to provide them if they occur again (which will happen).

I am sure that most of the bugs I submitted recently are not caused by other bugs.
Often, they did not even occur on the same machine / eclipse installation.

Resolving for now, as I have not seen this in any of the JSPs I've been working with. If you're able to find a reproducible scenario, please reopen the bug and attach as much info as you can. Thanks.
