The icon is now rendered correctly if it's in a stack but not if it's been minimized to the trim. This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. As such, we're closing this bug. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it and reopen this bug. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant. -- The automated Eclipse Genie. |
Build Identifier: I20110407-2200 Though this bug was found and reported during DBCS enablement test, note that this is not a DBCS problem. Problem view icon indicates error/warning according to Eclipse 3.7 and 4.1 M3 - New and Noteworthy. Confirmed that Eclipse 3.7's problem icon indicates error/warning, but Eclipse 4.1's problem icon does not. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create a Java project 2. Create a Java class such as Test.java 3. Maximize the Java editor by double click on the tab "Test.java" 4. Type as follows -------------------------------- public class Test { private; } ---------------------------------- 5 Verify that an error happens and the icon of the problem view has an error flag.
