Description Severin Gehwolf CLA 2011-04-14 17:39:57 EDT
When using Gnome 3 and Eclipse the behaviour of re-entering a view of Eclipse into the main workbench window is not very intuitive. Instead of picking the window on the top bar and dragging it back into the main workbench window, one has to select the frame inside the actual window.

It took me a while to figure out that it's still possible to re-enter an external view into the main workbench view.

This video illustrates the issue:

I'm not sure this is that unintuitive: why would entering a view back into the main window be any different than taking it out? Two different behaviours for removing/re-adding would be confusing IMO.

Also this isn't a bug in SWT, this is a workbench issue. I'm going to close this as INVALID, if you wish to pursue the issue further please file a bug against Platform UI.
