Description Rüdiger Herrmann CLA 2011-04-14 10:35:16 EDT
The ApplicationContext allows to group together all objects that live in application scope. With this in place now the desire arises to have distinct phases that these objects pass through until the ApplicationContext is ready to be used from outside.
These phases could be:
* instantiate objects
* configure objects
* wire together object (inject dependencies)
* initialize objects (e.g. reload buffers)
* open the ApplicationContext for access from outside
The exact order is yet to be discussed/determined.

This bug is to serve as a meta-bug to capture the enhancement and track the solution.
