Currently medic/logback is configured statically. However, sometimes it is necessary to increase the amount of logging at runtime e.g. when reproducing a problem and then decrease it again. Logback apparently supports this kind of dynamism, so the work here is to surface that via a mbean and also in the command line and web admin consoles.

Apache Karaf provides this feature.
