Build Identifier: CCS Version: 5.1.0.03000

A customer was led to incorrectly believe that certain IPC modules support static creation because of his ability to create an instance via XGConf. Check out the post at http://e2e.ti.com/support/embedded/f/355/t/104830.aspx.

Is it possible to mask static creation from XGConf?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Try creating a ListMP static instance using XGConf--it will work.

It is not currently possible.

We should add the ability for a module spec to declare that static creation is not supported by the module. This would then allow cdoc, configuro, xgconf, and other tools to properly handle this module's restriction.

Of course the best fix is to fix the modules to support static creation ;)

As a near term fix XGCONF disables static creation for modules which have a no-doced 'create' method. Fix available in xdcconfig -i07 and XDCtools 3.22.01.10-eng
build.
