Description David Williams CLA 2011-04-12 10:50:42 EDT
This is not really "Portal", but couldn't find a better place for "Tools".

At Eclipse Project Tools, at http://www.eclipse.org/projects/tools/

it says "Note that you have to be logged in as a committer in order to use these tools.". To me that implies using our committer id and password, but (from my experience) this really has to be our bugzilla id and password (which, I assume somewhere is associated with our committer status). This is tricky especially given experience with the portal page, that accepts both bugzilla ids, and committer ids, and 'tools' there are only accessible with committer ids.

It is true that once you press "login" from the Eclipse Project Tools page, the next screen says to enter your "bugzilla id" ... but, I don't read that carefully, so might be better if the initial tools page said

"Note, committers must be logged in to use these tools."

Or, maybe

"Note, committers must be logged in with their bugzilla ids to use these tools".

Or something?

Admittedly a minor issue ... just opening as a small usability improvement.
