Bug 342299

Summary: The 'isCloseable' handling is not dynamic
Product: [Eclipse Project] e4 Reporter: Eric Moffatt <emoffatt>
Component: UIAssignee: Project Inbox <e4.ui-inbox>
Status: RESOLVED WORKSFORME QA Contact:
Severity: normal
Priority: P3 CC: tom.schindl
Version: unspecified
Target Milestone: ---

OS: Windows XP
Whiteboard: stalebug

Description Eric Moffatt CLA 2011-04-08 10:31:09 EDT
Currently once a part (or its placeholder) is rendered changing the MPart's 'isCloseable' value or adding/removing the NO_CLOSE tag is not managed by the stack renderer (as it should be).

Note that the closeable state of a CTabItem is a constructor flag. We should pick up these cases and re-create the CTabItem with the appropriate SWT flag.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
