Hi,

just tried to fetch the skalli repository via https, but I got the error message "fatal: Authentication failed". I used the userid I got from dev.eclipse.org, do you have any other advice?

Hmm appears that apache didn't care for the blank line at the end of the file.  I fixed that and it seems happy.

I also see a lot of 'password mismatch' messages for your login id.

just tried again, but still got the same authentication error. I have to use the same password I use for dev.eclipse.org, right?

Yes.

Here's what I see in the error log:

Thanks for all the info you provided us, we were able to do git fetch/push via https. So everything works fine for us now.
