Where can you reproduce this: - text fields - Text editor - Java editor - others? > - Java editor
Not sure about other editors (as I work mostly with java), but at least I don't remember such appearances.

So, it's not happening that often that you could reproduce? No. And sometimes it is not happening at all. But when happening, restarting of eclipse is helping not for a long time. So probably this can be system issue as well. On another hand - it appears only for eclipse, so not some overall system problem. Currently I cannot formalize conditions when the bug appears. Also I've noticed that sometimes it behaves even more strange - I make Copy action in eclipse, then try to insert it in let's say notepad++, but nothing happening. Then I back to eclipse press ctrl+c again (or two more times) and the text appears in notepad++ by itself. Sometimes they tend to lock the system clipboard. Moving to SWT for comments. I have the same problem with eclipse in ubuntu 11.10 with xfce4.8. i cant reproduce it also. but the effect is not depending with the mouse. i hope u can fix it. see plz also https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=345912 *** Bug 345912 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Are you using VNC?
