I have been unable to reproduce the failures on Win XP and Mac locally

Dani, do you know of any changes to JUnit in Eclipse?

If the versions available in the build have changed, that may be why this test fails in the nightly builds but not locally.

We upgraded from 4.8.1 to 4.8.2 but that should only have minor changes.

Tests fail because the version range excludes 4.8.2.qualifier (highest allowable is 4.8.2.0).  Fix is to change the range to [3.8.2,5.0.0).

Fixed in HEAD.  See PluginRegistryTests.java
