In SWT Text Box,there is no method to modify the border color of Text Boxes.

Reproducible: Always
Comment 1 Felipe Heidrich CLA 2011-03-30 09:47:49 EDT
what text box ?
org.eclipse.swt.widgets.Text
org.eclipse.swt.custom.StyledText

either way, the border is native and can not be changed. StyledText can have margins around the text (between the text and border) and the margin you can set the size and the color.

Closing the bug as submitter hasn't responded in few years and Felipe gave a good explanation.
Please reopen if there is something that is still not clear with detailed question.
