plz let me know how to convert the report designs from birt2.3 to birt2.2.2 becoz i need to use jdk1.4.2 strictly in my project. already i have created reports in birt2.3 which supports jdk1.5 right. so how to compile those in jdk1.4.2.

plz let me know the solution

We only provide backward compatibility on report design, so there is no decent way to convert the report designs from birt2.3 to birt2.2.2.

You may try editing the report version in xml directly to the one that 2.2.2 supports but we can not gaurantee that it works fine in 2.2.2 since some features of 2.3 may not be supported in 2.2.2.
