maven indexes can be quite large, well over 50M for some bigger group repositories, and index download can take significant amount of time especially on slow/congested networks. m2e can't make downloads faster, but it needs to provide better download feedback so the users can see the progress and estimate how much more coffee they need.

m2e was using wrong ahc version. fixed now.
