When using workspace artifacts resolution the system property "m2eclipse.workspace.state" is set. The value at runtime is
   <workspace>/.metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.m2e.core/workspacestate.properties

But actually this file is not written to this directory, it can be found in 
   <workspace>/.metadata/.plugins/org.maven.ide.eclipse/workspacestate.properties

I am not able to reproduce the problem using a recent 0.13 build. To help us troubleshoot the problem, can you please attach your eclipse configuration details?
