Please always provide a description. Summaries may change over the life-cycle of the bug and a meaningful description is helpful for understanding the nature of the original request. I am happy to make the change in p2 but even if I apply the patch on bug 342164 it won't be available in the 3.6 discovery implementation so you may want to consider using reflection either way. Yes, you're right. Thinking about it again, the only solution we have right now is reflection. I still see value to expose the means to change the text field content for the future. Due to 3.6 compatibility, we need to set the text trough reflection. Will commit once I get the rights.
