Description Felipe Heidrich CLA 2011-03-25 11:06:15 EDT
After you use 'run code on single item' the URL to the item is shown on an alert window. The user can not copy the URL and is forced to type the URL in the browser. After the window closes the URL is not available anywhere anymore.

We should replace the alert window box by a more friendly window, that would allow the user to select and copy the URL, and show the URL a link on the window so the user can click on ii.

okay...(but you do realize this is a sample plug-in and the action is a no-op?)

> okay...(but you do realize this is a sample plug-in and the action is a no-op?)

are you say that the URL given in window does not actually work ?
I thought I typed the URL in the browser window and it did work...
(and yes, I know it is sample. I lowered the importance to reflect that)

The sample is just showing you what was selected when you chose the action. It sounds like what you want is a way to open a browser tab on an item in the navigator, or at least copy the full URL of something in the navigator. Is that about right? (I would think we should consider this for the navigator proper rather than put work into the sample.)
