The Eclipse community is the "technical team". Eclipse projects are varied and diverse; the teams that write the code are also varied, diverse, and--very often--distributed. I recommend that you spend a few minutes learning more about the community before you get too far. If you have technical questions, you can pose them on the Eclipse forums ("newcomer" [1] is a good place to start). There are numerous papers, tutorials, courses, etc. on our /resources page [2].
