Created attachment 191170 [details] Proposed solution The JavaBeansMetaModel is not capable of creating instances of EMF Java classes in create extensions. This enhancement proposes a plugin that extends the JavaMetaModel which is capable of detecting the type's Factory to instantiate these classes. The code might be added to the EMF typesystem plugin.
