The Eclipse IDE allows saving launch configurations to a file in your project so that they can be shared with the whole team.

It would be useful if the orion sites could also be saved and loaded from files in the workspace to enable sharing them with the projects they configure.

Mark just created a site for me so that he could host the embedded editor example.  It meant mapping dojo, client, editor to the right places.  Mark said it was a chore (even for him!)

That is a useful site configuration for sharing.  So if we had the ability to save the site configuration with the site at a known location, people could grab it and duplicate it.

Now that Bug 341928 is being addressed, this is going to be important for the self-hosting scenario.
