On some generated editors it happens that after a new resource is created, using the generated Wizard, the editor cannot be opened. Something like the following message appears instead

"Unable to open editor, unknown editor ID: <DawnEditorClass>".

It seems that the class is either not found be the Dawn due to a wrong implementation or the generator generated a wrong naming in the plugin.xml.
