Description Francois Chouinard CLA 2011-03-10 13:44:33 EST
The stats collecting request stops if the the stats tree (in the Statistics View) is expanded while it is running.

The correct behavior is to expand the tree and update the various fields dynamically as the trace is parsed for statistics.
Comment 1 Francois Chouinard CLA 2011-03-30 14:21:15 EDT
Update on how to reproduce the problem:

- Start Eclipse without the Stats view opened
- Select a large trace for parsing
- When the long histogram starts to fill (the BG job), open the Stats view
- Another BG job will be started and control will switch back and forth between the 2 jobs
- At one point, the Stats view BG job will stop (apparently on a chunk boundary)
Comment 2 Mathieu Denis CLA 2011-08-01 16:35:39 EDT
Any BG job will provoke the bug to occur, not just the histogram one.
Comment 3 Patrick Tasse CLA 2013-05-23 13:30:17 EDT
Fixed with the refactoring of statistics view to use the state system.
