Description Mike Wilson CLA 2011-03-09 16:11:52 EST
Tested with I20110309-1205 server running on a Mac, client iPad (iOS 4.3)

1) two taps required to follow links (because of use of "onHover"?) ...
2) ... but double tap resizes the viewport (so you need to tap twice *slowly* to follow a link) [1]
3) missing scrollbars (and no ability to drag scroll) *everywhere* (inc. navigate-tree, navigate-table, and editor)
4) no keyboard support -- neither the tap keyboard, nor an external BT keyboard works
5) can't drag splitter (but clicking the hide/show triangle works)
6) no i-beam cursor in editor (not at start of file when file is first opened)
7) too much stuff in nav bar (<-- == odd wrapping on a small screen)

I found this list after a cursory sniff test, I'm sure there are other issues.

[1] See http://bit.ly/fM5Y2l for more on how to control the viewport

Sigh. Apparently, I don't know how to use URL shorteners. Here's the long link:

Note we have bug 334915 for supporting editor on iPad, so we can use this to track general Orion UI support.
Comment 3 Susan McCourt CLA 2011-10-27 13:07:53 EDT
marking 0.4 since "mobile friendly" is a proposed theme, but I think different people will own different parts of this.
Comment 4 Simon Kaegi CLA 2012-02-12 23:06:01 EST
Moving to 0.5 but Susan could you triage this a bit more into bite sized pieces.

yes. this should be the "tracking bug"...we'll attach dependent bugs to it, will clean it up after 0.4

Closing as part of a mass clean up of inactive bugs. Please reopen if this problem still occurs or is relevant to you. For more details see:
